Grade 4’s Doing The Right Stuff!

This week the Ridge Grade 4s gifted masks to the Salvazione Grade 4 pupils – something fun for them to wear over the holidays!

In addition, boys donated from their pocket money and raised over R800 for Salvazione to put to good use as pupils start the new 2021 learning year!

“When you are kind to others, it not only changes you, it changes the world”.  Awesome stuff Grade 4s!

Grade 6 OUTING TO THE Melville Koppie

The Grade 6s went for a hike in the beautiful Melville Koppies. They learnt about the vegetation, which is almost entirely indigenous and a remarkable example of the richness of highveld grasses, flowers, and trees so close to a city center. They also saw evidence of Stone Age man as well as more recent Iron Age remnants, such as an excavated iron-smelting furnace. They were also taken back on a three billion year journey to explain the geology of the area in this fascinating Johannesburg City Heritage Site
